What time is Employer Check-in?
Set-up begins at 9:00 AM. Please plan on arriving between 9:00-9:45 AM to set up your table. All employers must check-in at our employer registration table in the George Sherman Union. Candidates will be allowed to enter the fair at 10 AM.
What is provided for booth set-up?
Each booth will feature a 6’ draped table, table signage, and seating. We encourage you to bring a table banner if you have one.
Will there be any refreshments?
Yes, employers will be provided a continental breakfast and catered luncheon.
Can I ship display materials to MERC?
Yes. Display materials can arrive no later than 3:00 PM on Friday, April 12th. Please make sure your organization’s name and “MERC Education Career Fair” are labeled on the outside of your material.

How do I handle collecting my materials and having them shipped back to me after the fair?
If you have anything that needs to be shipped back to you after the fair, you will need to call your carrier and have it picked up from the Center for Career Development. We will bring all of the display material back to our office (Center for Career Development, 100 Bay State Road, 5th Floor) so please schedule pick up from that location, NOT the GSU. The earliest possible pick-up can be scheduled for 4:00 PM on April 18th.
All packages must be labeled. The Center for Career Development and MERC will not assume any responsibility for any materials left behind.
What does my registration fee provide?
Your fee provides the following amenities for up to TWO representatives: One 6′ draped booth, table signage, seating, continental breakfast, tickets for our catered networking lunch, and exhibitor badges on the day of the event.
How many representatives can I have at my exhibit booth?
We allow a maximum of 4 representatives per booth.
What is the last day to make cancellations or changes to my registration?
Registration cancellations must be made in writing by email to MERC at email@example.com. If cancellation occurs on or prior to April 1, 2023, you will receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. If cancellation occurs after April 1, 2023, you forfeit your registration fee.
How do I pay for my registration?
All registrations will be reviewed and are pending confirmation. An invoice will be sent to the registrant to acknowledge accepted registration and will provide payment information. All invoices must be paid prior to April 15, 2023, to secure your spot at the fair.
Payment is due prior to your attendance at the career fair by \check. If payment is not received by the fair date, after a one-month grace period, a late fee of $50 will be assessed per 30-day period past April 20, 2023. Any organization with an outstanding balance will not be eligible to register for subsequent MERC career fairs.

How do I request electricity?
Electrical access must be arranged prior to the event at the time of registration. We cannot guarantee electrical hookup on the day of the event. If you request electricity, please be sure to bring your own extension cord to the fair to plug into the outlet.
Is food provided at the career fair?
A continental breakfast is available during the employer setup starting at 9:00 AM. A catered networking lunch is available provided that you have a lunch ticket. Water is available for employers throughout the event free of charge.
Can I interview at the fair?
You may interview candidates at your booth during the event and the optional interview period immediately following the open fair.
Is there free WiFi at the job fair?
Yes, there will be complimentary WiFi at the career fair.
I need a hotel room. Where should I stay?
We strongly encourage employers needing overnight accommodations to book as soon as possible. See our Hotel Information page.
