The Framingham Teacher Residency is an alternative pathway for those looking to begin their career in teaching. The residency model blends a rigorous full-year classroom internship with academic coursework that is closely aligned with classroom experiences, supervised by a highly trained, supported mentor teacher. The residents will not only receive a living stipend but also may have their tuition expenses waived if the residents commit to teaching in the Framingham Public Schools for a minimum of three years.
